REDMI 2 with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB storage REDMI available in India by April 15 (update: by Aug-15)
07:51 MiuiOS.in 0 CommentsXiaomi revealed that it will soon be launching REDMI 2 Enhanced a limited edition of the smartphone with ExtraRAM and internal storage. The company had updated the smartphone giving it 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage.
At the launch event, Xiaomi announced that it would soon be bringing the updated variant to India. Besides the Extra RAM, and internal storage, the rest of the specifications remain as same as Redmi 2.
Xiaomi global vice president Hugo Barra said that another Redmi 2 variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage will be released in India later, without specifying a price range. He added that the model will be priced higher than the standard Redmi 2 model.
If we talked about it price seeing the Limited Edition which means limited no of buyers can buy this we think Xiaomi is looking at the price of Rs 8,999 but we see that there is no point of this price tag it should be available well at Rs 7,999 launch could happen in April Last week
There is also Good News Xiaomi Redmi 2 will be available via Airtel stores a few weeks after the first flash sale so you can buy it offline too. The Redmi 2 priced at Rs 6,999 will go on sale via Flipkart on March 24. Around 40,000 units will be available, and registrations for the first sale kick off at 6:00PM today
