This is the first new product from Xiaomi, and it came as early as the 4th day of 2015. Since the launch of the first Redmi Phone, Xiaomi Redmi series has always been the most popular smartphone amongst consumers due to it's unparalleled price to specifications ratio. The new Redmi 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, MSM8916, a 1.2GHz Quad-Core 64-bit processor, which can fully utilise the advantages of the 64-bit Android system. Other than the 64-bit processor, the Redmi 2 also has the A53, which possesses 50% higher computing speed than that of a Cortex A7. With the Hexagon DSP core, the A53 is able to run movies, music and camera functions with ultra low power. Its configuration also allows the phone to run smoothly even when you are concurrently surfing the web and chatting. It can also run 3D games without a single glitch.
In this upcoming 4G LTE era, the support to 4G LTE is inevitable on all smartphones.
